Okay, y’all, this is my first post with a recipe for a full meal, and believe me it might be the only thing you’ll ever want to eat again. This is a complete and total comfort meal, with thick and hearty mushroom gravy with lots of sage that is made to completely cover a vegan country fried steak that is exactly the kind of meal that gives this blog its name. This is very, very suspiciously vegan.
Are you ready? I know we all need some comfort, so I got it right here for ya.
This recipe yields exactly enough for a perfect dinner for two, so this recipe is absolutely necessary to include in your dinner-at-home date night rotation, or it might be necessary for you to learn to really make a great first impression for your vegan love interest… Or, honestly, make it for yourself and be happy that you have extra, because you will have no problem finishing it all. And if ya do, the leftovers can also make for a pretty good re-fried breakfast, too!
